Privacy & responsible use

Your learning records
The studio stores studied statuses, knowledge-check results, lab notes, case notes, and practitioner workbench findings and rule drafts in localStorage in your browser. These records are not sent to an application database and do not sync across devices. Browser storage can be cleared by you or your browser. Export any notes you want to retain.
What to enter
Use synthetic training details only. Do not enter production credentials, confidential plant information, personal records, or real incident evidence.
Hosting and external links
The website host may process requests and technical connection information to deliver and protect the site. This application does not add advertising or analytics scripts. External reference sites have their own privacy practices. The browser may ask permission before copying text to your clipboard.
Downloads
Lab briefs and workbooks are generated in your browser. The downloadable packet capture and event records are synthetic teaching material. The packet capture represents four standalone Modbus requests, not a complete TCP session or a real plant recording. Maintenance approval appears in the companion event records, not in the protocol packets.
Limits of the exercises
These exercises support education and discussion. They do not emulate physical processes, safety systems, or vendor-specific controller behavior. Studied status is self-reported and is not a certification. Verify real-world decisions with the appropriate engineering, operations, safety, and security teams.
Resetting records
Reset studied statuses and knowledge-check results in the homepage FAQ. Erase individual lab-note text to clear it. Use Clear notes in the case workbook to remove the three case-note fields. Use Reset workbench to clear practitioner-case drafts, findings, rationale, and evaluations. Clearing site data in your browser removes all locally saved learning records.
